Meet The Host

Ahrianna Navarrete

Certified Neuromuscular Massage Therapist, Health Educator, and owner of Remedy Massage Therapy, Ahrianna (she/her) has been dreaming of this offering for many years. She looks forward to hosting this Día De Los Muertos gathering as a sacred space to explore grief, life, death, and our relationships with our ancestors and ourselves as a collective.

Ahrianna grew up surrounded by her grandmothers and great grandmothers, and holds a strong connection to her Chicana roots. The matriarchs of her family were the initial inspiration for this event.

In more recent years, Ahrianna has felt the heaviness of grief born from years of witnessing increasing state violence. She craved space where her heritage could be celebrated, shared, and appreciated, and where our collective grief as a society can inspire activism, community care, and joy.

Meet the Guest Hosts

Cyn Magaña

Cynthia "Cyn" Magaña (she/they) is a queer Xicana therapist, registered yoga teacher, and wellness practitioner grounded in Sacramento with a decade of practice spanning California and New York. Known as The Chicana Therapist, she works at the intersection of depth work and ancestral practice, supporting high-achieving first-generation professionals, creatives, and Queer and Trans communities in coming home to themselves.

Her work is rooted in lineage. Growing up, her maternal grandmother initiated her first tarot reading, and her paternal grandma held deep ritual and prayer. She carries that inheritance into rooms like this one, where rest becomes ritual and remembering becomes medicine.

For this Día de los Muertos gathering, Cyn weaves grief work, sound, and guided rest into a space for connecting with your ancestors, honoring those who came before us, and building trust in your own intuition.

She believes the answer to having Mother Earth and our sanity is community, connection, and education.

For our Día De Los Muertos gathering, Briona will share her knowledge on naturalism and community care.
